Both parents are involved in the training process. The layout of the book starts with mommy & daddy bringing home the new potty and setting it up, to showing her that she's too big for diapers and that "big girls" use the potty. The artwork is well done and captures both our attention.
This book is more comprehensive than some in that it not only covers the little girl in diapers and her potty training, but also her big girl panties and "potty training accidents".
At 28 pages, this book is longer than other potty training books and sometimes toddlers can't sit still through the whole thing because it has more words and is a little longer (since it has more subject matter than our other potty book)!
