Another book by Sesame Street that is fun, educational and entertaining for your toddler!
This book has photos (instead of the usual drawings). There is a great shot of Ernie smiling with paper strewn all over and on the next page, it say "Don't use too much, Ernie!"
Some parents love this photo, because it reinforces what they have to tell their child. Other parents have found that even though the book is advocating the appropriate behaviour, the photo is sending the wrong message!"
Too Big For Diapers and the Potty Time book, could both fall into the ENTERTAINMENT category of potty training books for children. ENTERTAINING potty books are great for children who understand what is supposed to happen on the potty, but need extra time to make it happen.
Too Big For Diapers fits more in the ENTERTAINING category, although it includes washing hands with "sudsy soap" - a step many potty books omit; so theoratical is could also fit in the INSTURCTIONAL potty books for kids category as well!!
