Seven Steps to Nighttime Dryness [Bedwetting Training Book] is written for parents who need assistance with helping their child achieve dryness at night.
Written by Renee Mercer, a nurse practitioner with years of success in helping kids learn to stay dry at night, she outlines a positive, very practical approach to ending bedwetting.
In seven steps, you will learn:
(1) What does and does not cause bedwetting;
(2) How to select the right time to start treatment;
(3) The treatment options available, and which is right for your child;
(4) How to choose a bedwetting alarm;
(5) How to prepare your child to begin treatment;
(6) How to effectively use a bedwetting alarm; and
(7) When to stop treatment.
This book answers hundreds of commonly asked questions that parents and children have about bedwetting and the steps to achieve dryness. It provides in depth information on what to expect when using a bedwetting alarm, how parents should respond and common childrens responses.
From the AuthorAfter years of treating children with bedwetting, I noticed that the same parental questions and concerns kept occurring. Parents worried that they did something to contribute to the bedwetting or that there was something wrong with their child.
Sometimes embarrassment kept them from seeking treatment until their child was much older, or well-meaning advice suggesting that they needed to wait until their child grew out of it delayed treatment.
In my book, Seven Steps to Nighttime Dryness, I have outlined easy steps for families to follow in their quest for dryness. These are the same steps that I use successfully in my practice for treating children with bedwetting.
The extensive question and answer section provides sought after advice for parents. This book is an essential companion when using any bedwetting alarm.

Following this book in combination of a wetness alarm is getting our son to sleep through the nights without wetting. It provides progress charts and instructions on how long to use the alarm and other related information. First couple of weeks following it were rough, but once he was able to wake up on his own with the alarm it got much easier. He's making progress, almost up to a whole month of dry nights.
