If you and your child love singing nursery rhymes, then this is the CD for you! It has a humorous collection of verses set to familiar nursery tunes. (see below for example)
It contains 17 irreverent, kid-friendly, and hilarious songs and rhymes parents can use to coax kids into the bathroom.
The book could be used as an invitation to get to the potty and will certainly make the chore of potty training more fun for everyone involved.
The songs and rhymes are based on expert advice about how to potty train children and how to use toddler-friendly language. There is some underlying structure to the book as it progresses from first tries, when accidents do happen with songs and rhymes such as Hush little darling,/Don't you fret./Let's clean up-/Your pants are wet, to growing success and independence.
The songs discuss peeing and pooping, wiping, flushing, washing, and the final effort of staying dry through the night. They also cover a wide range of important behaviors such as:
- recognizing when they need to go to the bathroom
- congratulating children for using the potty
- learning how to flush
- washing their hands
- clean up any “sprinkles”
- motivating kids to pee before going to bed.
This book is magic! Children will sing and giggle as they learn how to use the potty. It has the funniest and most entertaining potty training book ever!
(To the tune of Tinkle, Tinkle, Little Star )
Tinkle, tinkle, little tot
Sitting there upon the pot.
Any second now, you'll see ...
Sprinkle, spash and you'll go pee!
... and to entertain them while they're sitting and waiting for something to happen
(To the tune of On Top Of Old Smokey )
On top of my potty
I sit and I wait
I know what I'm making...
Is going to be great!
We have some great free potty songs that you can browse through as well!
In short, every toddler and every parent is going to want one!
