Gerber Vinyl Pants (Nov 15, 2010)
Reviewer: Caleb's mom Dawn
These pants are great. They run a little big but we still love them.
Sizing & product (Mar 14, 2011)
I am quite happy with the product.
I ordered a size small, my boys weighs 25 lbs, we tried them on when they came and they were too big! The leg openings were loose, then I remembered they were all cotton and washed them. They fit fine now.
As far as the quality, I like them. They are soft, look comfortable, fit under his cloths well. He can pull them up and down himself with a little struggle.
Gerber Vinyl Pants (May 08, 2011)
These pants work, but they are not a great fit. They are big and poofy. My daughter is at the bottom of the weight limit, but the elastic leaves marks on her thighs because they are too tight. Do NOT put them in the dryer (they melt). I would not get them again. The Potty Patty waterproof pull on pants
Awesome!! (Aug 28, 2011)
My daughter took to this very easily
. Now she loves it!!!
Parents these days - UGH!!! (Jan 29, 2012)
I'm the grandma. I've potty trained my kids and one other grandchild. They were all done by the age of 2.
I now have a grandson who is ALMOST 3!!!! ... and is not bothering to try very hard - because - I believe - these damn Pull-Ups are too damn comfy.
The rubber pants
WORK because the kid doesn't want to wear them!
These are hard to find locally.
If you're trying to potty train .... and you're trying to emphasize the positives... one BIG POSITIVE is getting into "big boy" or "big girl" pants and away from the nastiness of not being potty trained. One more vote for makin' the kid wear these, in my opinion.
The poop stops here! (Apr 16, 2012)

These plastic pants help keep everything contained when we are out and about and an accident occurs. They rinse easily and dry quickly. They shouldn't be put in the dryer at all. Expect them to deteriorate if you do. They are supposed to be poofy since they are designed to allow a toddler to lower and raise them independently.
Parent Testimonial (Sep 19, 2012)

My eight year old son is on the autism spectrum. We have been trying to potty train him for years with no success. He is nonverbal, and while we were trying to use pictures and books to give him visual prompts, nothing seemed to "click"--he just wasn't understanding what we wanted him to do when he was sitting on the toilet.
His ABA therapist recommended Potty Scotty, and I figured, why not give it a try? I ordered the doll and received it in less than a week; one week after that, my son was successfully using the toilet. Seeing the doll was the "a-ha" moment he needed, and for almost a month, he has been doing wonderfully, even during school.
I know many other parents of children on the spectrum deal with a lot of frustration when it comes to potty training, and I wanted to let you know your site should mention the doll's usefulness for those who need visual prompting. I actually read a review by a parent who had complained the doll was "too lifelike," and that's actually why I ordered it!
Thank you for creating this great product,
Keeps the bed dry (Feb 14, 2013)

These rubber pants are the best. The night diapers were wetting through every morning. These pants keep the bed dry. It's great added protection.
"plastic potty pants" (Oct 23, 2013)
Reviewer: Millisa Miller
The concept here is awesome but unfortunately the sizing is way wrong. My almost 3 year old is 34 lbs. and the tag and size chart describe the plastic pants as for his weight but they are waaay bigger. (and floppier) i would guestimate the 3T pants we bought to be for a kid that is 40-50 lbs. possibly. (i'm just super guessing here)
Pros- great price and great quality!
It can be difficult to shop online. We'll try a smaller size.. Thanks!

These are a great aid for potty training my son. They are durable and the fact I can clean then in the washing machine is great!
Great product so far (Aug 31, 2010)

I've been using this for a few days now, and wow what a difference. The suction cups work just fine and adjust well to fit different toilet sizes. I was concerned it wouldn't work with my very narrow sided toilets, but It works perfectly. No more misfires & puddles :-) Also, my 8 and 4 yr old girls appreciate how easy it is to flip it down when they need to use to potty. I keep Clorox wipes on hand to keep it clean and violia - potty training a boy isn't so frustrating anymore :)
Check the label: 100% peva, not vinyl (Mar 27, 2009)

These are completely different from the 100% vinyl plastic pants that Gerber used to make (until recently). These "improved" plastic pants crackle and crinkle loudly, and worst of all, the quality is so poor, I really can't see them lasting more than a few weeks. I'm glad I only ordered two packs. I'll have to try a different brand. DON'T BUY THESE!
Best Plastic Pants (Apr 08, 2009)
These are the best plastic pants I have ever purchased! Not sure why but these have held together through washing and drying. No holes or rips in them at this point.
I have purchased many Gerber "training pants" at the stores but they always fall apart very quickly. I would even hand wash them and hang them to dry and still have them rip. Not so with these!
SUPER BUY (Apr 08, 2009)
This is a great item. We needed these to help our son start potty training, because the disposible training pants are too much like a diaper. This was nice to have to put over his cotton training pants to help keep up with his accidents. We'll be saving them for our second son who isn't quited ready to train.

my son is 5 and having accidents at night, so we decided to use these on him over his bedwetting diapers, amd these plastic pants helped contained the leaks, they are perfect also for long car trips, they are a savior i'd reccomend these panty's for kids up to age 6 who still need help
Perfect in the car (Oct 08, 2009)
We own 2 of these. One stays in the car at all times. I can't tell you how many times we have heard driving down the road the panicked "I have to go potty!" No problem, we just pull over, take her out of the car seat and sit her on this right on the floor of our car. It is so convenient and easy and helps to keep potty training uninterrupted just because you're going on a long drive.
Gerber PEVA Waterproof Pants (Nov 30, 2009)
Reviewer: Mortimer & Jillian Smithison
Gerber PEVA pants are not worth spending any money on. The are much like putting a plastic grocery sack on your baby's diaper and feel about the same. They do not hold up well with washings and definitely melt on a low setting in the dryer. Gerber missed the mark when they gave up standard vinyl.
Love It (Apr 01, 2010)
My almost two year old loves this DVD. We went to the store and bought an "Elmo Potty".
When she "gets that potty feeling" she asks to sit on her "Elmo Potty". It is cute and effective.
She also understands that there are many words that describe pee, potty, poop, toilet, etc.
It seems it is a fun way to compliment the infomation and routines we are teaching her.
