Cotton Training Pants

Cotton training pants are made of a thick cotton and there is a thick pad down the center. They are very comfortable for children to wear when they are potty training. Cotton training pants are a must have when potty training begins. All the diapers, Pull Ups or other diaper like items have to be removed from the home. They cannot be around any longer at all. Children will want to use these instead of using the potty. It is what they are used to and it is easier as well. When children are able to say that they are soiled or wet, it is time to potty train and ditch the diapers.

They have to understand that those are no longer available at all any more and that they cannot use them. Instead they have to use the potty and wear cotton training pants. These allow children to feel that they are wet or soiled. They will feel uncomfortable and they can start recognize when they have to go, by how they feel before they become wet or soiled. Using cotton training pants is very important and making sure there are enough of them is important as well. In the beginning there will be more accidents when they are just beginning to be potty trained and there needs to be enough of the cotton training pants for them to change into. These can also be used for nighttime potty training too, by placing a plastic cover over the cotton training pants. This helps with soiling of the sheets and needing to change the bedding regularly, while still allowing the child to potty train even at night. The plastic covers easily go over the cotton training pants and are easy to pull up and down as well. Children will still feel the wetness, while the cover helps to keep the moisture in.
