- There is no purchase necessary to enter or to win, nor is there any cost to register.
Entrants must have Internet access prior to March 31, 2007, in order to be eligible to enter.
- The Contestant is deemed to be the holder of the established email account associated with the entry.
- By submitting the entry, Contestant is warranting that the Contestant owns the story and that it is original, non-professional, neither previously published nor having won any other award whatsoever.
- By submitting the entry, Contestant is granting to Potty Training Concepts (including PottyTrainingConcepts.com) the right to use the story for commercial purposes for an unlimited time.
- By submitting the entry, Contestant agrees and hereby releases Potty Training Concepts and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, agents, officers and directors from any and all liability or responsibility arising in connection with Contestant’s participation in the contest or as to any prize(s) which may be awarded.
- Potty Training Concepts reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject and disqualify any stories which are deemed in its sole discretion to be obscene, profane, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate or any entry which Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines to be inconsistent with its editorial standards, audience expectations, or reputational interests, or that Sponsor believes may violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Potty Training Concepts assumes no responsibility for entries unable to be processed for any technical reason and further reserves the right to cancel the contest if it becomes technically corrupted or because of unauthorized human intervention. Potty Training Concepts reserves the right in the event of such cancellation to award the prize to an eligible, non-suspect entry received prior to cancellation.
- This contest is limited to US Residents only, and Contestants must have a shipping address in the Continental United States. This contest is void where prohibited by law and void in Arizona. Arizona residents are not eligible to enter. Applicable taxes are the responsibility of the Contestant, and appropriate tax identification information may be required prior to the awarding of any prize.

- Contestants must enter their story between April 1, 2007 and May 15, 2007 to be eligible. Entries will be judged on composition (25%), humor (25%), originality (25%), and reflection of theme (25%). The top five entries (Finalists) will be selected by Potty Training Concepts and posted by June 1, 2007. Finalists will also be notified by email.
- Beginning June 1, 2007 visitors to the Contest will be able to vote on the Finalists. Votes for the Grand Prize Winner must be received no later than 11:00 p.m. CT on June 30, 2007. The Finalist receiving the most visitor votes will be designated as the Grand Prize Winner. In the event of a tie, the winning entry will be the entry among the tied entries with the highest score in the judging criterion.
- Each Finalist will receive Potty Training in One Day Book & DVD Set valued at $39.95. The Grand Prize Winner will receive a $100 gift certificate redeemable at www.PottyTrainingConcepts.com. The Grand Prize Winner will be posted online after the close of the voting period and will also be notified via email. All prizes will be delivered on or about July 15, 2007.
- Prizes may not be assigned, transferred, or changed, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. The awarding of any prize is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Rules.
- Entrants agree to be bound by Official Rules and agree that if winner fails to provide proof of identity, refuses to provide required affidavit, is found to have violated Official Rules, or otherwise does not meet eligibility criteria, prize will be forfeited and awarded to the entry with the next highest score. Entrants understand that Sponsor is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from participation in this promotion and acceptance, possession, and use of prize. Decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all respects.
