This thing isn;t going to last long

I could tell as soon as I opened the box it wasn't long for this world. Very flimsy. I'm going to use sparingly when we're out only in emergencies because it looks like it could break and let my kid fall into the water. Doesn't fit well over elongated toilet seat.

The best I've found so far

I'm now on my 4th one of these seats. They keep cracking and breaking after a while and my daughter is only 2! (I've been using them since she was 18 months.)
Pros: I love how it's padded and folds pretty small. Fits our small toilets at home and elongated ones in public pretty well.
Cons: The plastic joints that hold the sections together on the underside wear out pretty fast. No handles so DD does end up touching the seat sometimes. Keep an eye on the plastic joints. The first seat I had, I was not aware of the problem until it collapsed while my daughter was on the potty. Luckily she was fine, but now I regularly check all the joints.
This is the best traveling potty seat I've found though.

This seat worked on our vacation. Great. But, the seat didn't last very long. The plastic casing that holds the folding screws cracked - that was the end of the seat. My son was only 29lbs. The seat still looks brand new, probably used it about 10-15 times before it broke. Didn't realize how fragile it was.

This item really worked for my daughter. She is three and it helped speed up her training. She would rather sit on this potty seat. She has a Dora potty seat but she likes this one better. She started asking to go potty on the second day of using it. Before I bought this potty seat she would never ask to go potty.
I will buy a second one to leave at grandmas house.
