These Overnight Undies by Mother of Eden are great if you decide that you would rather use underwear instead of diapers once your child is potty trained. They are designed like real underwear – they can be pulled up and down, but have the snap on sides for easy clean up after an accident.
The outer shell is made of a soft and very supple waterproof fabric (same fabric as in their diapers). It is not vinyl or plastic – it is fabric, so it feels very nice to touch; it is not sweaty/hot/sticky like vinyl, and does not make the crinkly sound. Unlike the trickle free training pants, these overnight undies have a thick absorbent core that will absorb a large amount of fluid.
There are two options for the inside of this underwear – you can get them with a layer of incredibly soft and absorbent micro terry fabric or a supersoft stay dry fleece. The stay dry fleece helps keep wetness away from the skin of a child who will not wake up after they have wet the underwear.
These underwear are extremely well designed. They have double set of snaps, so they will grow with your child. They are very soft and very comfortable. They are a great alternative to diapers and pull-ups for nighttime.

These cloth training pants will NOT hold as much urine as disposable diapers or pull ups do. If your child is wetting the bed every night, we recommend that you continue to use disposable diapers or pull ups to make it easier for both yourself and your child or invest in a good quality waterproof mattress pad. UNDERWEAR COLOR: They come in a basic off-white.
UNDERWEAR SIZE: These underwear come in 5 different sizes - 2/4, 4/6, 6/8, 8/10 and 10/12. The sizes are true to the regular size, so if you order 2T (23-28 lbs) in Gerber or buy size 2 clothes, order 2/4. If your child is on the high side of 4T (33-38 lbs) - order 4/6. The measurements for the underwear are as follows:

Sizes are determined in the following way.
All measurements taken at resting elastic which means there will be some give in the leg.
Rise - From bellow button, through crotch, to back waist.
Sides - The length from side waist to the top of hip where top of panty will ride.
Waist - the size of waist – starting with smallest snap position and resting elastic, to biggest snap position and stretched.
Leg – around the leg/thigh - starting with smallest snap position and resting elastic, to biggest snap position and stretched.
** Most important measurement to go by is the waist, Sides and rise.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
First, run a cold rinse or soak cycle with no detergent.
Second, run a hot cycle with detergent. Do not use bleach.
Third, if your hot wash is not automatically followed by a cold rinse, run a cold rinse cycle. This step only necessary with a particularly dirty load.
Tumble dry the diapers in training pants on low or hang to dry. Do not use fabric softener or pure soap*. Never dry on high heat.
