The vinyl is soft, durable, easily wiped down, and also does not hinder a child's mobility.

If paired with cloth underpants underneath, these pants will contain a leak- however, they are very uncomfortable for the child. My daughter is a little less petite than average and the elastic around the waist still cinches in too tight on her. Also the outer shell bunches and has so much extra fabric that these can not be worn under any other clothing article without making the child look suspect.
Gerber cloth training pants is better for their skin and the earth. , 1.6.2009

I really liked these training pants for my kids. They fit okay and did not leak. The only thing is that you have to line dry them or the plastic wears out quick. I also used Gerber training pants with their separate plastic pants over top and it worked great!
