This was the most similar style potty that i could find to what my mother potty trained me on. I wish it had the tray like the ones from 35 years ago. A nice place for our daughter to set her book while she reads. I like that it is not to tall and doesn't weight that much. I would recommend this item to a friend.

i really want to like this potty chair. i love the simple look of it, the light wood is beautiful. it is crafted nicely. but we are experiencing 2 problems with it. first, the bowl slides in and out from the back of the chair. this is very inconvenient to have to pull the potty away from the wall to load and unload. and impossible for my son to do independently. secondly, the hole for the potty is not long enough. my son sits on it but really has to try very hard to get the urine to go in the bowl. he's really trying to aim, but I'd like him to have more success with a larger, longer bowl.
