This Once Upon a Potty Book for Him is best used as a companion you son's new potty chair. Alona Frankel wrote this book when her own son was toilet training to better help him understand the potty training process. Her son was encouraged and excited by this story. It motivated him to make the developmental leap from diapers to going on the potty.
This boy in the book is named Joshua. Joshua's mother tells you about Joshua, his new potty, his body and how he goes from diapers to going on the potty.
The Book features:
A fun, easy, non-threatening way to openly discuss potty training with your boy
Playful, interactive text involves your boy in the story
Both of my childeren loved and comprehended with this story

This was a great and easy way for my childeren to become more comfortable with the idea of a potty. The Once upon a potty books are highly recomended. Any parent who is raiseing their kid right, will use these books and they will love them. This is my opinion but I know several people who will agree with me here. So, Eh.. I didnt get the message, you should be raiseing your child/childeren in the manner that the rest of us mothers/fathers are. Thank you all for reading my review. I will look upon yours as well. I hope us parents all share the same message
Eh...didn't get the message across

While the basic story is nice and concise the illustrations weren't what my son needed. The potty portrayed in the book is almost like an old chamber pot with a handle (at least the version I have) and my son did not associate it with his potty in any way.
