We have specially designed these padded potty training pants to fit loosely so that they can be pulled on and off by the toddler, without adult help. Not only does this increase the chance of getting to the potty on time, but it also makes whole process much more independent, which is the goal of independent potty training.
They have an absorbent center panel that contains the accidents, but will make your toddler uncomfortable and therefore increase her awareness of her excretory function, especially when compared to diapers and pull-ups.
The potty pants feature breathable side panels, wide rib leg bands for a comfortable fit and a center panel with fiber sponge for super absorbency.
Potty Training Pants are comparable to the Gerber training pants when it comes to function. Moms have told us that they prefer the quality of Potty Scotty & Potty Patty Brand over Gerber Training Pants for Boys.
However these potty pants are NOT waterproof and if you are worried about messes and leakages coming through the potty pants, we carry three other types of potty training pants that have a waterproof outer layer:
- Simple, but effective waterproof pull on pants that would go over the padded potty pants and provide the added protection.
- The 2 in 1 Waterproof Potty Training Pants - by Potty Scotty are ideal if you are worried about accidents making a big mess and leaking everywhere.
- The Night Time Potty Training Pants with Waterproof PUL Fabric are great for naps or night time potty training.
Care Instructions for Padded Potty Training Pants :

Love it (Jun 15, 2009)
I am working on potty training my 21 month old, and as a family we like to go places. This was great for our trip to the zoo. I put it in my backpack for the day. It was light and handy for the day long trip. Has definitely been a useful purchase.
Good, helpful product. (Oct 26, 2011)

This is a good product
for my son. It would be excellent if it were a little taller. My son is developmentally challenged and I realize is taller than the age range that this product was intended for. While it is very helpful and a great invention, it would be fabulous to have one taller so that when he goes it doesn't sometimes go over the top of the Flippee. Please consider making a taller one. Thank you very much.

Too small (Mar 31, 2017)
Reviewer: Amanda Milner
The unit is SO SMALL. My son isn't even 4 yet, and he's too tall for this. I know I can mount it to the wall, but I'd rather not. I liked the idea of it being portable, so if necessary I could move it to another bathroom.
These are great (Feb 12, 2009)
If you are looking for a good training pant....look no further. From the day these arrived they have been a god send. You can't find training pants in stores it seems and i have never seen a better quality training pant before. These are the greatest, anyone potty training will be happy with these.
just right for potty training (Jul 07, 2011)
So much more effective than disposable pull ups. Easy for my grandchild to pull up or down and padded enough if he doesn't make it, he knows when he's wet. Comfortable and soft fabric.

When the order got to my grandson he opened them and wanted to put them
on right away, he loves them, you said it would take a week to get to them it was delivered in 2 days, i am very satisfied with the order and your customer service, I would order from you again.
Absorbant (Sep 26, 2011)
soak up most of the mess, yet allow the toddler to feel wet and uncomfortable. Once our toddler is older and potty trained, we will use these for nighttime sleeping just in case there are accidents.
Potty pants (Jan 23, 2012)
My son wanted them
off immediately. Kind of balky between the legs. He hates clothes so this reaction is probably exaggerated by that. They are roomy, nice size leg holes and the waist is a nice fit. My son is 2 years and 1 month at 37 lbs and 39 inch tall.

These training underwear are great, during the potty training process. We love them. They have saved the shoes from getting wet.

Runs large. Go five pounds lighter when ordering. Very soft, nice print, seems very well made.

Love these training pants and so does our little one. Just wish there were more designs for girls. I think she would like picking out which pair she wanted to wear instead of having to keep wearing zebra or princess

These are the best training pants. They work so well and we continue to purchase them for our new little ones. My only critique would be for the tag to be sown directly in the back (instead of the side back). This has been confusing for both of my toddlers when trying to put them on themselves correctly.

The training pants work pretty well, but I ordered 3 XL and received 2 XL and 1 L. Designs are very limited

Sizes run big (Jul 06, 2017)

I purchased the medium size pants for my boys and when I put them on they were not snug at all around there legs and very large. Other than that the product appears that it will work great. My son peed in one as we were trying it on so I can't return it but I did order the smaller size as I think the product itself will be great if the right fit. The size was the the only reason I didn't give five stars
