Potty Training Pants - Padded for BOYS (Buy More Save More!)

Based on 13 Customer Reviews
Potty Training Pants are NOT Pull-ups, they are not intended to pull moisture away from the child, leaving them comfortably dry like a diaper will. This is why Pull-Ups DO NOT work when potty training toddlers. While potty training you want the child to feel wetness, to feel uncomfortable if they wet themselves. This helps them to become self-aware and gives them the motivation needed to be successful.
Potty Training Pants by Potty Scotty are 100% cotton, with a super absorbent center strip for extra protection when accidents happen. These are NOT waterproof. If you want waterproof protection for your padded training pants consider adding our Waterproof Pull On Pant. This will instantly make the padded training pants waterproof. If you are looking for a 2in1 waterproof training pant please check out 2 in 1 Waterproof Potty Training Pants for Boys .
Training Pant Features:
- Super absorbent center panel
- Easy to pull on and off

boys training pants (1/3/2012)
Reviewer: Braeden (Baytown, Tx)
My Gwamma bought the pants for me (I'm 21/2 yrs old) so I can be a big boy. Found out real quick I don't like wet pants and I do love stickers, so guess what else she got me. So far they're working real well. Thank you Potty Training Concepts, and Thank You Gwamma!!

Great Training Pants (7/5/2011)
Reviewer: Janice
I loved these training pants. I bought an X-Small for my 28lb son. He is quite slender, and I found most other training pants too baggy. These ones fit well, but probably a bit tight for him to pull up and down himself. (Perhaps "small" would have been perfect, however, I bought small in the waterproof version and they were way too big, so I'm happy with the X-Small). They are cute, not too baggy, and very absorbent. They wash well and don't stain too easily. They look like "real underwear" and fit under his pants, and they are comfy and soft. They seem like great quality and I'm very happy with them. I have tried other brands and these are the best!
Potty Training Concepts:
The cotton padded training pants fit differently than the 2 in 1 Waterproof training pants. They are a little bit bigger because of the material they are made out of.

Excellent product (5/19/2011)
Reviewer: Colleen
I am very pleased with the training pants. They are high quality with just the right amount of padding. The only gripe I have is that I got a 12 pack and a 6 pack, but each pair was individually packaged. I wondered when I was ordering them why there was so little price difference between the multipacks and single pairs. When they arrived with each in its own package, I understood. This is wasteful, and I found it disappointing. I am otherwise completely thrilled with these training pants.
Potty Training Concepts Response:
The only reason why we individually package our training pants is for return/exchange reasons. That way if a customer doesn't have to open a whole package when they could just return one in one package.

love these training pants! (5/14/2011)

My son is 30 lbs and the large size fits him. These training pants provide the right amount of absorbents. My son feels the wetness but it does not leak down his legs & onto his shoes making a mess like regular underpants.

My babies love these! (3/25/2011)

First impressions- these are very well made. The material is a soft, thick, cotton. The padding is generous. The waist and leg bands are made of non-binding material (unlike the Pull-ups).
My 13-month old daughter had her first miss in these today. I was so pleasantly surprised at how much easier these were to remove than a disposable diaper.
Note- I needed to put these back in the dryer for a second pass (only about another 20 minutes). Most likely because we dry everything on the lowest heat setting possible.
We were on the cusp of a size S, although technically we are a size XS (we were 1 pound and 1 inch away from a size S). I ordered the S and they fit perfectly!

Sizing & product (3/14/2011)

I am quite happy with the product.
I ordered a size small, my boys weighs 25 lbs, we tried them on when they came and they were too big! The leg openings were loose, then I remembered they were all cotton and washed them. They fit fine now.
As far as the quality, I like them. They are soft, look comfortable, fit under his cloths well. He can pull them up and down himself with a little struggle.

These are good underwear (1/12/2011)

However they run large. My son is 42lbs, at 2 years old. I ordered XL according to the weight, and they are way to big.

I LOVED the Potty Scotty ones (11/15/2010)

When potty training my son, what ended up getting him officially trained was ditching all the disposable pull-ups and going to the training pants. I LOVED the Potty Scotty ones you have pictured. The quality is amazing. I plan to get the Po...tty Patty ones soon for my daughter. Sure, disposables at night may be good for a while, but ditch the disposables during the day! Nobody likes to be wet! The first few outings without the security of disposables is a bit of a challenge, but plan well, and it should be fine! We only had one accident while training and there's the occasional accident here and there, but an extra set of clothes kept in the car takes care of that!

Update... on Leakage (2/11/2010)

There is not enough padding in the front... Unless your son's pee pee in literally under his body and between his legs, there is not enough padding.
All the padding in under him, (like in girls training pants) not in front where it should be. In the picture of the training pants on this page is a little deceiving.
You'll see a seam going horizontal across the front. Underneath the seam is where all the padding is, but when it's actually on your child , most of the padding is underneath.
In the picture of the little boy... only the part where it is padded is on the dip in the front below the leg opening seams. And unless my son is standing straight up... the pee comes right through...
Don't get me wrong... it does catch some pee, but still disappointed. He had only been in that training pant for 15 minutes!!! And yes... I did wash them to increase their absorbency before use...

Good training pants... (2/11/2010)

My son is about 32lbs and 2 1/2 years old. We just received the (34-38lbs)Large a few days ago.
They are a little big and bunch in the back, but still do the job.
They DO NOT shrink... just to let you know. I would advise not to get a size up.
If your child is 29-32lbs you should probably go with the Mediums; and if your child's around 34-36lb go with the Large.

Love these! (1/27/2010)

I am definitely giving these two thumbs up.
Five times as thick and more absorbent than Gerber Training Pants for Boys and they look comfy too.
Now they will leak if your trainer decides to empty his whole bladder but for small accidents they are perfect.
I also bought the Pull On Pants to go over until he starts to feel it coming.
My little one keeps going back and forth on whether he wants to go in his undies or not.
Ah the joy, Anyway I came back today to buy another set of 6 and telling all my friends.
Be prepared for longer time in the dryer or open mid cycle and turn them inside out ;)

This was the only thing that go my son going to the Potty. Pull Ups are a waste of money and will never teach your child how to go to the Potty!!! I passed my Training Pants on to my friend.
