WeeMan Potty Training Urinal by Potty Scotty
When you are teaching a toddler boy go potty keep in mind that he is just learning, his aim will be off and initially he may also dribble, so there is a good chance of over spray and mess. For this reason, if you may decide to teach your son to stand when urinating, you will want him to learn in the bathroom.
Be prepared to do some extra cleaning in the bathroom and around the toilet bowel for a while until your toddler learns to aim.
Using a urinal, like the Potty Scotty Weeman, can help cut down on that mess because it is just their size, and easy to get up close to and use. Check out all of our Urinals for Boys!
How does it work?
The Potty Scotty Weeman is a toilet training urinal targeted for 1 to 4 year olds. It clips on to the front of a normal sized toilet, allowing small boys to urinate whilst standing up unaided, 'just like dad'.
It is attached to the toilet via a hinge, which allows the Weeman to be swung up and over the toilet bowl and into the toilet, where it empties. The design and materials used ensure there are no splashes or drips. The toilet is then flushed the normal way, with the Weeman remaining inside the bowl where it is washed. After it has been 'flushed', it is then swung back over to hang onto the outside of the toilet bowl until it is next used. It is not necessary to actually remove it from the toilet.
The Weeman's cleaning action helps train boys to lift the seat up, and put the lid down when finished. The 300 gram molded urinal is made from polystyrene, a liquid repelling plastic.

- Boys can urinate standing up unaided "just like Dad"
- Your child will feel more confident using the "Weeman", meaning fewer accidents and less mess.
- The unique cleaning action means that "Weeman"can be emptied and flushed without removing it from the toilet.
- The simplicity of "Weeman" will ensure that toilet training is simple and stress free for you and your boy.
- "Weeman" simply clips onto your toilet bowl.
- The design incorporates a "living hinge" which has been tested to 1 million actions and is unconditionally guaranteed.
- The bowl has been designed to hold your child's full bladder
Inspiration:
Terry was babysitting when his grandson announced he needed to go to the toilet, and that he wanted to go standing up. Terry's protestations that his grandson was too small went unheard, and Terry ended up having to hold him over the toilet while he wee-ed.
Terry later asked his daughter what devices he could buy so that his grandson could go to the toilet standing up on future visits, and discovered the perfect solution didn't exist. Terry says, "My grandson wanted to stand up to go to the toilet like me, but found it difficult to balance on the stool and aim correctly. When he was tired, he would half fall off". So Terry invented the Weeman.
How To Decide which clip will fit your toilet:
Because of the different size and shape of toilet bowls we now offer 2 different size clips. The standard which is 2 1/4" long and the new larger size which is 2 7/8" long. Below are the 2 clips side by side. | ![]() |

This is a great product. It took our son to day 2 to start using it and now he loves to pee and enjoys emptying the urinal himself.

LOVE IT!!!!! (12/12/2011)

Love this product! I had this for my first son and my only regret is that I didn't have it from the very start of potty training. Now buying for my second son who desperately wants to be like Dad and big brother.

I ordered this for my 2 year son. It is a great training tool. I remove it and clean it each time. Simply flushing the toilet with it in there doesn't do it for me. I ordered it with the Euro clip and received both so no problems fitting it to the toilet. I wish I knew about this product with my first son!

finally something that works for my son! (6/8/2011)

GREATEST PRODUCT!!!! (5/10/2011)

After I opened the box of the WeeMan Potty Training Urinal, I clicked it onto the toilet. My son looked at it for literally 20 min. after opening the box that he said "I went pee pee in it!" Thank you so much for your fantastic product. I don't know how it got him to go, even though he didn't seem interested before that day, but now he uses it all the time. Customer service was fantastic, and rushed out a bigger clip so that it could fit better on our toilet. Wonderful company.

my son does not want to even try to use is!
not ready to be trained yet.

have a few quirks but we still love it (11/9/2010)
Reviewer: Tara (Thousand Oaks, CA)
The urinal is just the right height for my son - he LOVES to go pee just like his daddy. It isn't totally secure on the toilet and you have to be very careful when dumping the pee out. Make sure to have some toilet wipes around to clean it out/off after each dump. Besides that we love it and I am glad that I purchased it!

Check before you buy (9/7/2010)

I am unable to fully rate this product b/c we were unable to put it to use due to the urinal clip not fitting our toilet. Make sure you check to see if the clip will fit the rim on your toilet or this product will be useless to you. The clip provided is too small for deeper rimmed toilets.
Potty Training Concepts Reply: The Weeman Potty Training Urinal is in fact only designed for normal sized toilets as noted in the description of the product. If in fact this product is purchased and the clip does not fit, please contact us and let us know because we do offer larger clips when the original clips do not fit.

Great Product, One Problem (2/12/2009)
Reviewer: Mommyof2
This is a fabulous product! As soon as I opened it, my son used right away. His first time standing up. I would have rated it 5 stars 3 times over for how great it works. But we have had it for close to 6 months now and my son can't use it - he is too tall for this urinal but not tall enough to stand using a normal toilet. No matter which he tries his pee flies everywhere! I am disappointed this product wasn't something that could grow with him a little. Now he'll only go sitting. :-(

Love this!!! (1/10/2009)

Training my 3rd son has been really easy but even easier with this great invention! My little guy loves, loves, loves this and gets excited to use it. He also likes to dump it when he is done. Keep the Lysol/Clorox/Costco wipes ready because it tends to get pee on the brace that connects to the potty and some is still in the urinal itself as well. Such a great tool for potty training!!!!

Great! (12/10/2008)

This got my son interested in the potty again when I was just about to give up! He loves going potty right beside his daddy. He thinks he's so big now that he can go while standing. The only drawback is whenever I flip it up to empty it, it comes loose. I have to be careful not to dump the entire thing in the toilet. It still deserves 5 stars though!

Best Product for my son! (12/9/2008)
Reviewer: Relieved Dad
My son has had hard time toilet training for many months. He has watched me (his Dad) use urinals at public restrooms and at home and wants to do it just like I do. He doesn't like to sit down on a toilet seat at all, but he is to short to stand up to urinate. After getting the weeman potty, he has had great success learning how to urinate, and he is even starting to not mind sitting. The weeman is a great success with him. He goes with me each time i go, and insists on doing it all himself. He is even showing off his urinary skills when his friends come over, even if they are girls. Thanks for the motivating product.

It WORKED! (11/29/2008)
Reviewer: Dee
I had tried almost everything to get my 3 year old son potty trained (my other advice is start around 2 when boys aren't in such an independent mode!). He just didn't seem to want to do #2 on the potty. Well, this Wee Man isn't about #2, but he caught on so fast to #1 and loved his independence that he started telling us when he needed to #2 on the toilet and no longer wanted his pullups! No pull ups once we started (except for at night). First day with Wee Man, we had 2 accidents, second day 1 accident, today none! (all were #1 accidents) I'm just AMAZED!!!!!
I have to admit that I'm not thrilled with a urinal in my bathrooms, but it worked and he's not so at risk of getting hit by the lid, falling in, etc. so I'll deal. He'll be tall enough for the toilet someday. He also really likes that he can empty it himself. It does have pee left on it so I keep lysol wipes near by.

Great WeeMan! (11/29/2008)
Reviewer: Gwen (Hastings, MN)
My son started to use the WeeMan when he was about 22 months old. He just loves it. I taught him to stand with both legs touching the bowl and not to move till he is finished peeing. He does great at it. I think his favorite part is tipping the pee into the big toilet and flushing it. It's a great product for our little men.

We Love the Weeman Potty!! (11/23/2008)
Reviewer: Binnie (Kahnawake, Quebec)
I would like to apologize for my lack of patience and trust. i received the weeman and it is so great. I have not received the lil marc however I am confident it will come soon.
I am so happy with the weeman and it really works great I wish I could spread the word over here in my small community of baby boomers, it is a great product and it would surely sell well here. I don't even remove it from the toilet I leave attached on the seat and of course I remove to clean it however I leave on the seat and my husband and two teenage boys don't need to remove it when they utilize the toilet. I hope it is fine and we are not going to damage it by leaving attached at all times, I just feel that it is convenient to leave it on the toilet. Once again I am happy to receive that product.
