These colorful cloth training pant covers are a great option to use over cloth training pants such as the
Potty Training Pants - Padded or the
Gerber Training Pants for Girls These training pant covers are waterproof and therefore will help to contain the accidents and reduce the clean up efforts.. They have elasticized waist, so they can be pulled on and off by your daugher. When potty training, they are ideal for use at nap time.

These work well for my daughter in combination with Wee Essentials padded cloth training pants. They do such a good job containing BMs and urine that I feel confident taking her out of the house in them. No urine down the leg or puddles on the floor so far. If I don't catch a pee accident right away, I sometimes feel a very tiny bit of dampness outside the cover. So while they aren't 100 percent waterproof, they are close enough. My daughter adores the colorful prints so much that she won't even consider putting on her 2-in-1 Potty Patty pants. These covers are trimmer than a lot of vinyl covers, but still have a bit of a poofy shape. However, even with the training pants, they are trimmer and more crushable inside clothes than the 2-in-1s. They are coated polyester, so don't order them thinking they feel like cloth. Think more like a really high-quality super-thin plastic bib. I haven't tried the pants/cover combo for nap or night yet.

I did the Potty Training in One Day over Memorial day weekend and decided to use these training pant covers when my daughter went back to daycare. The first day she did not have an accident at school but having them on made me feel better about sending her to school in panties. They are harder to pull up and down than just panties alone and she needed a lot of help with that part. She did have an accident while wearing them and they contained the wetness fairly well. Although, they are not completely waterproof. I also purchased the 2 in 1 pants for night time but my daughter does not like the tight leg openings. At night time I use the training pant covers over training pants.

I would definitely suggest purchasing these training pant covers to go over the padded potty training pants if your child is just beginning to potty train. Although the training pants are very absorbent, they will leak right on through if you do not have these covers to go over them. If you are going to purchase both the trainings pants and the covers, I would suggest just going with the 2 in 1 waterproof training pants instead. I thought they worked the best, plus they are 2 in 1, so there is no need to deal with separate covers and pants.
