If you are worried about accidents and want to contain them and are thinking about the Gerber Vinyl Pants - Covers - you may want to consider these. These Gerber All In ONE Waterproof Trainers are designed to CONTAINING THE ACCIDENT. These underwear are 100% cotton on the inside. They have a nice absorbent polyster core and the outer covering is 100% Vinyl. The vinyl is extremely soft and not crinkly or noisy.
Will also work for nap time and may work for night time use.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash warm with like colors.
Use only non-chlorine bleach when needed.

I really like these and just ordered more for my son. There are some things to watch out for, though. When my son has an accident in these, it's pretty much guaranteed it will go through to his pants. So, we are careful about where and when we use them, and always have an extra pair of pants with us. They do not completely "contain" the accident, as the description says. We are just dealing with this as part of potty training. Also, if you have a problem with clothes getting stuck in your dryer, in between the edge and the rims that run up and down the barrel, I would not recommend putting them in the dryer, because ours have gotten rust stains on them and tiny little tears in the outer vinyl. But, they seem comfortable, are plenty soft, and squish down well underneath tight clothes (they are pretty poofy underneath baggy clothes). Best price too.
