Hope someone can help me please My daughter is 21 months old For ages has took a big intrest in mumming going to the toilet etc and showing signs of if she might be ready. Always saing wee wee etc. I brought her a pink potty All was fine and she sat on it and played with it etc happy as larry and still taking a intrest She kept asking to have her nappy off so i encouraged this and she would sit on the potty happily.........untill she actually needed to wee. She knows what weeing is, she knows when she needs to go.....and she holds it.....but she wont go. She gets all upset, jumps about. and holds it (which im sure isnt good for her) You try to sit her on it and again she will sit there, then gets off. jumps abouts and crys. Sometimes fetches a nappy to be put on Im worried that she might do damaged keep holding it. Today i brought her the Fisher Pirce laugh and learn toilet, hoping it may encourage her to let go of her wee wee. And she loves the potty. its lots of fun and does lots of songs and praises. But she must have wanted a wee for about half hour or more. but wouldnt wee. kept crying but didnt want a nappy on either. Eventully she sat and let about half of her wee go. And when i was full of praise etc she just cried. She still needed to wee but wouldnt. and kept dribbling little bits out cos she was so desparate for a wee. Really dont know what to do???? I dont mind her still being in nappies. shes still very young, but she wants her nappy off and knows when she wants to wee. Help Please Rachel
