Hi,
I read a link on the current website, that is:
http://www.pottytrainingconcepts.com/Potty-Training-Boys/How-to-Potty-Training-B oys.htm
In that, they've 'ordered' the parents to teach their little boy to pee standing up. But in my country where I live, everything is different. According to our culture, here male people also sit while urination. Then my question is am I still suggested to teach my son to pee standing up, or continue the way I am teaching him, that is sitting down?

Hello Ali Emami,

Thank you for your post.

Sitting or standing? It is important to remember there is no right or wrong way. We stress this point in our articles and encourage parents to allow their children to use whatever method is most comfortable for them and their family.

In addition, you might be surprised to know most experts agree toddler boys should be potty trained sitting down. Even the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends encouraging & teaching toddler boys to urinate sitting down.

So go ahead; I encourage you to continue to train your son sitting down. Just be sure to communicate your preference (decision) to any childcare provider that might ask your son to do otherwise.

Best of luck to you and your son.

Narmin
