I am running out of ideas. My daughter is 6 years old, and when she was born the doctors explained that she was born with a condition called imperfect anus. When she was about 6 months old she had surgery to help correct the problem. She will pee in the potty all day long, but however refuses to poop in the potty. The smell and it being her panties doesnt bother her. She is very strong will and puts up a good fight. I have tried everything from stickers, to taking her to the potty every 30 mins, etc. You name it we done it. She still sees the surgeon and he continues to tell us that it take longer to potty train children with this problem. She will be in 1st grade soon and we all know how mean children can be mean. I need help to help her. |
