I have a 6 year old boy who has always been a little difficult to potty train. He has the peeing down, but is still having trouble with the pooping. I have gotten soooo much advice from everyone I'am not sure where to turn now. I have been told to have him see a doctor who wanted to put him on medication, a therapist who does mostly hypnotherapy, we have tried sticker charts with rewards, taking away priviledges. It seems that he does it mostly when he is preoccupied with something else and does not want to leave whatever it is that he is doing. I know that he is capable of going on the toilet, but seems to be so strong willed that will not do it all of the time. He is going to be starting 1st grade in the fall and I'am very afraid that he will have accidents in school and will get picked on by other children.
