Help!! I have never posted to anything like this but I am at my wits end!! My husband and I don't know what to do! I am a mother of a 3 year old boy whom is very active and very strong willed!!He is very ready, in all the areas and tells us when he has a dirty or wet diaper The kid is scared of the toilet and doesn't want to sit on it. we have both a small toilet and one that fits on our toilet so he can choose. About a month ago we just went cold turkey and took away diapers during the day, they say once you start don't confuse them so we went for it and put him in big boy underwear that he picked out and he wouldn't sit. I went for about 3 days he was frustrated I was frustrated, so I didn't know what to do so we let him wear pull ups. Since then we have been talking about fears about the potty and how fun it is to pee and poop in the toilet and letting him flush when we go, still no interest. We now have a jar full of m and m's on the toilet. All he needs to do is sit on the toilet and can have one. He just keeps telling us later, and that he wants to wear diapers. I don't know weather to move forward or leave it alone, if he won't sit, then I can't potty train???
