Hi,

My boy is 4 1/2 and has been potty trained pretty much since he was 3. In the last month or so, however, he has developed a habit of wetting his pants during the day - often not enough to show through his pants but just to dampen his underwear. It used to be just once in a while but now it's gotten to every single day.

Nothing particular has changed at home except that we've started training his little sister. He'll be starting Kindergarten in a few months and we've also been trying to teach him to swing himself on the swingset and ride a bike.

I asked him about it and he insists he didnt' need to pee one minute and the next, he was wet. This happens at preschool, at the grandparent's house, at home on weekends. Same story no matter where he is. I wonder if this is maybe a resistance to being asked to be a big boy?

What in the world can I do? Should I retrain him as we train his sister?

I'd really appreciate any advice.

Thanks
KC
