My daughter used to go sit on the potty for us and she uses it and stays dry constantly for the past 3 weeks at daycare and she WILL NOT even sit on the potty at home anymore. We have not pushed her, we have not made it a bad experience, we have only praised her for going on the potty and even get really happy and praise her when she even just sits on it. We offer, "let's go sit on the potty!" very happily and she screams NO! and completely resists. Any ideas? She is 2 and 3/4 and can stay dry up to 2 hrs. She stays most nights. Why is she resisting using the potty at home? We are very confused at why she uses it at daycare but scream for her diapers once we get home. We have even tried "running out" of diapers and just using panties, which she doesn't mind, but she wets them and won't sit on the potty at home.
