My three year old son is, I guess you could say potty trained. He will initiate trips to the bathroom, pee standing or sitting, even poops. But, on a daily basis, there are many, many moments where he will pee and poop his underwear. He just won't take the time. If I catch it in time, he will let me take him, but usually I find the start of a bowel movement. His grandparents play a big part in his life...If my husband and I try to talk, punish, initiate a potty break...or anything of that nature, they get involved by telling us not to do this or that.My son hears this and I feel he knows that he doesnt have to listen because they override us. They take over. I AM SO TIRED OF soiles underwear. we have tried everything and i mean everything....charts, rewards, punishment, no punishment, not doing anything....etc. nothing works, nothing. |
