We give praise for washing hands, and bathing, but my son will not have anything to do with the potty. At day care he cheers for all of the boys for going pee in the potty, they cheer for him when it is his turn and he will not go. He will hold it in until nap/bed time and then go.

Linda, I am having the same problem w/one of my twin boy's they will be 4 next weekend, Max, can tell when he needs to go, but clearly demonstrates not liking sitting on the potty. He will sit on the "big" potty or the "little" potty, He we be quick to make grunting sounds and fold his arms and give me a mad look, doesnt speak. He has used the potty a couple of times but over all will hold it. I am at a loss as to what to do....my other, Alex is doing rather well, not totally there yet but Max gets excited for Alex when he does got potty.....Do you have any advice for me?
