my son is 19 months old and we started potty training about 3 days a go. he loves sitting on the potty but rarely does any thing .he'll run off and go ,or in his pants. when he does pee he pays no attention to it when i try to reward him i've even danced. is he just not ready; what to do?

Hello Charlene;

The age of a child when they begin potty training is an individual issue since, every child is different. It sounds like your child is thinking of his potty as a toy and the time with you attempting to train as play time. This is not necessarily a bad thing since it could be the other way around where they develop potty fear which can take quite the effort to overcome.

I recommend you check out or page about When to start potty training it provides very useful information that will help you decide if your child is ready for potty training.

Also, while I'm sure you are very lovely dancer, we do offer a variety of other potty training rewards to entice your son into becoming more focused with regards to potty training.
