I am potty training my 15 month old Daughter. She has been doing really great but is now saying she has to go to the potty to get out of stuff when she does not have to go . Example- riding in the car she signs that she has to go "pee pee". I ask her if she has to go "pee pee" in the toilet and she signs yes. We pull over, go to the bathroom and before we even try she is signing all done. I have asked her to try to go but she gets upset. I know that she is using the excuse of going to the toilet to get out of the car but I don't know how to address it. She does this in the grocery store 4 or 5 times a trip and when she is eating also! Do I take her to go to the toilet every time she tells me she has to go even if I know she does not have to go? It is very frustrating! Please help!!
