My son has autistic spectrum disorder and several developmental delays. He uses the potty sometimes, but other times he will scream and cry if we even ask him if he wants to sit on the potty. I respond by backing off and letting him decide when to sit and use it. Should I be encouraging him more and should I make him sit or should I keep letting him do it at his own pace?
