My son is 3 years old. We have recently had a lot of changes in our household. I had my daughter and my mother in law moved in temporarily. I really didn't want to have two kiddos in diapers at the same time! I was able to get him to go pee after my daughter came home from the hospital, so that was a bonus!! However, I cannot get him to go poo in the potty. I tried the reward system and making him sit there after meals to see if that worked and also tried taking some of his most important things away (his tv and his blankie, etc)...and nothing. He knows that he should do it on the potty but still insists on hiding to do it. He has a problem with constipation and does take Miralax to help ease it. So I think that may have something to do with it. But, if anyone could give me some input on what may work.....I would be forever grateful! Thanks!! |
