My son is 2 and a half and weighs 50 lbs. Also very tall, he looks like a 4 or 5 year old. I can't seem to find any cotton trainers that fit him, and I have tried several potty chairs and he is just too big for the seat. I don't know what to do, he can't be the only large child ever to potty train, but every product I find seems to max out by 35 lbs or so. |

hello, I feel your pain, I have a 3 year old who is 42lbs and 43 in tall. he looks like he is 5. I have the same problem with the potty chairs. I bought some of the scotty potty underwear found on this site, I got the large size 34-39lbs they are a litte big, I think they come in XL, but not sure. I also have him in regular cotton underwear size 4, because he does tell me when he needs to go pee, most of the time. I just have trouble with him telling me when he need to poop. the first time my son peed in the regular ones he didnt like it at all because he was all wet, made a huge mess, but from that point on he would pee a little, then come tell me to change his diaper. Now he will hold it to the point of where a little leaks out then comes and says potty time mom. I have been looking for a bigger potty chair also, If I find one I will let you know. |
