My almost 4 yr old will not use the potty. I first tried to train him right after he turned 3 and he was NOT having it. He is now 4 and still nothing. I have him in underwear, and he has only had 2 accidents. What worries me is that he holds it. I have put him on the potty for up to 30 minutes at a time and nothing. He is supposed to start school and I am completely lost. I do not know what else to do.....Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bettie,

There is category in the article section titled Potty Training Tips for Boys that have some ideas for you to help him go pee in the potty. Also there is a section called How to Potty Train for Preschool.

Also check out this articles Potty Training 3 yr old about a mom who is having the same question as you and our response.
