My daughter is 23 months old. I started potty training her a couple weeks ago, and she was doing pretty good. We went on vacation for 9 days. We are back now, and am now on my 3rd day of no diapers, except for sleep. Each day, there has been a little progress of her going on the toilet. but there seem to be more accidents as well, today was the first day since we came back from vacation that she went on her own once. It seems like she is doing better, but at the same time, I just feel like I am cleaning up messes more. Today, she was doing really well, but late afternoon, she started having more accidents. I think I should keep going, but I guess I need some more confidence. Also, I had a question. Is it normal for sometimes her to have an accident after she gets up from the potty? That seems to happen quite often. Here is a little chart about her progress...1st day, 1 on the potty, about 3-4 accidents, 2nd day, 2-3 on the potty and 4-5 accidents. today, 4-5 on the potty 7 accidents so far. |

Well, I think I am on the right track...Today is day 6 and we have been getting better. About 2 accidents the past couple days. Many reminders, but she usually wants to sit on the potty without any. Thanks for reading my post. |
