My son will be 3 this week. He was showing all the signs of potty training about 4 months ago. SO we started the process. He has been in underwear for about a month straight now. He will not tell us when he has to go. We can keep him dry all day but only if we take him to the potty and catch him about to go poop. My husband will be deploying soon and I was hopeing to work while he was gone. Thought I could get him potty trained and in preschool but now that is not looking to be the case. I feel like he is just not making the connection with feeling like he has to go. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME? I put him back in a pull up today because I was SO frustrated!!!!!

I understand how you are feeling. My son turned 3 in August and 3 or 4 months before that he was starting to go on the potty. We were starting him off wearing underwear but he wouldn't keep them dry but if you asked him to go on the potty he would make himself go. Now he won't even sit on it. I try to get him to sit on it and he throws a big fit. I don't know what to do because my sister has a daughter who is a month older than my son and she has been potty trained for over a year now. very frustrating.
