Bed-wetting is a common occurrence with children. It can happen for a variety of reasons and this is not something that they typically do intentionally. This is something that is very important to remember when it comes to bed-wetting it truly is an accident.
Many times a child will potty train during the day without a problem, but will come in to issues when they are trying to potty train at night. This can happen also because of the fact that they do not always have all the feelings in their body to tell them that they need to get up and use the bathroom.
Their body may not have matured far enough yet to have those feelings, sop they do not wake up until they are already wet. Though it can be a frustrating time for both you and your child, you have to remember that this is not their fault and not to become angry with them either.
This can actually make the situation worse instead, since they could become embarrassed or hide the accidents instead from you, which could cause additional problems than later on.
