Potty Scotty Doll is a potty training doll for boys that is designed for the Potty Training in One Day method. He can also be used as potty training tool for general potty training.

Potty Scotty is anatomically correct, this is important because you wan to give your son as realistic of an experience as possible. This will help your son to connect with a doll that is "like him".

Potty Scotty Doll is drink and wet-on-demand doll. Scotty can drink water and hold it until you want him to go pee. He can pee in any Potty Chair or Potty Seat you want to use.

He is 16" tall and is dressed in a 2 piece outfit. His pants are removable, just like your child's, when he is ready to go potty. He is wearing a diaper, but if you follow the Potty Training in One Day Guide it says to remove and replace the diaper with "big boy" training pants. These doll training pants are like the child's potty training pants (which can be purchased separately). The additional training pants are to change the doll when he has an accident on the Big Day.

When you purchase this Potty Scotty Doll you also receive the Doll, 2 bottles for Potty Scotty, and 3 doll training pants.

(Jul 07, 2011) Reviewer: anonymous Potty Scotty is a bit messy, hard to empty, and difficult to dress and undress. But my son really wanted him, so we counted down the days until a "big day," and got potty Scotty as a gift that day to jumpstart potty training. It went perfectly, with pretty much instant success, after months of resistance before then. I'm sure different techniques work for different kids, and proper timing is a big factor, but Potty Scotty definitely made our potty training process easier. Says my 3 year old: "we like it a lot because we like the clothes and the bottles."
(Jul 07, 2011) Reviewer: anonymous My son has never taken any interest in dolls, so I wasn't sure he would buy into it. But he loved it. It's been a week since his party and he's completely potty trained, and still plays with the doll. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because if you put the legs in the sitting position and then squeeze one leg it is supposed to "pee". However, my doll will start to leak in the sitting position without squeezing the leg. And it's kind of difficult to "feed", I was never sure how much was enough. (Jul 07, 2011) Reviewer: anonymous We just used this method to teach our son (2yrs, 8 mos) to use the potty. We love this product/method and highly recommend it! The book gave us some very helpful information about how to tell when your child is ready with social, emotional, physical and cognitive indicators. The author also explains the child development principles for why this method works. The 1 Day Method builds on the concepts that we learn best by example, that we learn when we "teach" others and that potty training principles naturally work with rewards and consequences. With this method, our son learned how to use the potty in one weekend. He feels very proud of himself and we are ecstatic, too! This is a fantastic product/method....truly a must-have for every parent!
(Jul 07, 2011) Reviewer: anonymous I was excited about this product, having a toilet-resistant three-year-old. I was also excited to have an anatomically correct male doll. I think, however, because he is three (on the older side of potty training age) and a somewhat intelligent child, he immediately figured out how to make the doll go potty (literally within 5 seconds), and just became fascinated by the cause and effect of squeezing the dolls leg. He could not have cared less that we praised the doll for going potty. He just wanted to make it go potty again. Aside from that, the doll does leak, as mentioned by previous reviewers. I think this could be a useful tool for a younger toddler (18-24 month old) who is ready for potty training, but if your child is older and therefore more aware of making things function on their own (and also a headstrong child), it is not so great.
(Jul 07, 2011) Reviewer: anonymous I trained my son using this method when he was 2 years, 2 months. (My mom used a similar method with me in 1977 and recommended it) It worked really really well! He took a bit longer to learn to go poopoo at first, until I realized that HE thought he was "making messies" if he went in the toilet. I solved this by taking him around the house and showing him that the dishes go in the cupboard, clothes in the closet, toys in the toy box and poopoo in the toilet. He totally got it after that. He only had a couple accidents that I recall. I reminded him to go pee pee quite a lot at first, which I believed helped. I stopped all liquid drinking an hour to and hour 1/2 before bedtime and had him pee right before bed and right after getting up. I would highly recommend this prodect to everyone who's ready to potty train. :)
Parent Testimonial (Sep 19, 2012) Reviewer: Stephanie Thompson

My eight year old son is on the autism spectrum. We have been trying to potty train him for years with no success. He is nonverbal, and while we were trying to use pictures and books to give him visual prompts, nothing seemed to "click"--he just wasn't understanding what we wanted him to do when he was sitting on the toilet.

His ABA therapist recommended Potty Scotty, and I figured, why not give it a try? I ordered the doll and received it in less than a week; one week after that, my son was successfully using the toilet. Seeing the doll was the "a-ha" moment he needed, and for almost a month, he has been doing wonderfully, even during school.

I know many other parents of children on the spectrum deal with a lot of frustration when it comes to potty training, and I wanted to let you know your site should mention the doll's usefulness for those who need visual prompting. I actually read a review by a parent who had complained the doll was "too lifelike," and that's actually why I ordered it!

Thank you for creating this great product,

Stephanie Thompson

Great Potty (Feb 25, 2013) Reviewer: Amanda Gates Excellent buy and super cute!
It leaks, but so what (Sep 25, 2014) Reviewer: Angie I gave Scotty four stars because he does indeed leak. However, if you feed him slowly like the directions indicate, he works well. To minimize leaking, you have got to follow the directions, which are very simple. My son loves this little guy. I did the one-day potty training method with our 37-month-old five days ago, and he has only had four pee accidents starting the day after training, two of which were waking up with wet training pants. I just wish Scotty could poop because that is our challenge now! Oh--and it is neat that Scotty comes with a diaper on because you can start the training showing your little guy that you are taking off the diaper and never putting it back on, just like you will do with your little boy once training starts!
It's OK (Nov 19, 2016) Reviewer: Jane Pierce I bought the Potty Scotty for my grandson, it caught his attention but doesn't seem to be giving him ideas. I wish the hair was shorter, after a week it was a mess. His clothes are very cheap and difficult to get on and off. For the price I expected a better made doll with better made clothes.
Disappointing (Mar 14, 2017) Reviewer: PATRICIA Bowles-toiral I was eager to use this doll during my toddlers potty training however it was hard to get water into its mouth/body. Whatever water I was able to feed it, squirted out as bubbles as I placed the doll on the toilet. Mu son was amused. I was not. Could not use this doll as an example to potty train
